Prince of Persia Release Date The Lost Crown: Coming to PC And Consoles in January 2024
Ubisoft has announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Amazon Luna. The game will also be included with a Ubisoft+ subscription on PC, Xbox, and Amazon Luna.
The game is a fast-paced, 2.5D Metroidvania-inspired adventure steeped in elements of ancient Persian mythology. Players will take control of Sargon, a new hero who must use his mastery of time and space to explore a vast and dangerous world.
It was first announced in June 2023, and its debut trailer received mixed reviews. However, series creator Jordan Mechner has voiced his support for the game, calling it “the Prince of Persia game I’ve been wishing for.” The game is currently available for pre-order on the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
